Butter London Blagger is an opaque creme blue that's perfect for the summer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTtB1_54l6wrpxfqmrEl1f8IZU3T0_Jc9y_od0cv9zLC24qDxqh6UbyfuhgKdcxK2jpNDppV9eeGO32JJ884ysSQT9M_GtOgC4-Eiu75nssTn0XmTuP5-jhg4_CsrBp3nudo5mxxzvSdQ/s1600/Butter+London+blagger.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTtB1_54l6wrpxfqmrEl1f8IZU3T0_Jc9y_od0cv9zLC24qDxqh6UbyfuhgKdcxK2jpNDppV9eeGO32JJ884ysSQT9M_GtOgC4-Eiu75nssTn0XmTuP5-jhg4_CsrBp3nudo5mxxzvSdQ/s1600/Butter+London+blagger.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>This is picture is actually pretty close to the actual colour of the polish, I've seen a few photos online where it looks like a royal blue and it's definitely not, it's got teal undertones rather than purple/violet undertones and it's not quite as bright as a true royal blue would be. It's probably a cerulean/cobalt blue- I'm not doing a very good job of describing it am I? It's a really unique beautiful colour bright and vibrant without being to bright. It's a lovely blue for summer and it's a great colour for a pedicure.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The formula is great, it's opaque and applies beautifully, I don't have any other Butter London polishes so I can't say it that's typical but Butter London has pretty good reviews elsewhere.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's £12 at <a href="http://www.lookfantastic.com/butter-london-blagger-3-free-lacquer-11ml/10376132.html" target="_blank">lookfantasic</a> online or you can get it in store at <a href="http://www.selfridges.com/en/butter-london-nail-polish_464-3002833-BUTTERNAILS/" target="_blank">selfridges</a> or boots (I couldn't see it online but it should be in store- it's part of their permanent line). In the US you can get it direct from <a href="http://www.butterlondon.com/Lacquers/Blagger.html" target="_blank">Butter London</a> for $15.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This photo was actually taken a few weeks ago, I don't have a camera or a phone at the moment so I can't take any photos which is why I haven't posted anything for a while (my brother lost my camera and my phone started randomly screening my calls so it's being mended at the moment- my phone says it's got signal but just sends all my calls to voice mail- Why? Phones hate me.)</div>

This manicure is a very similar pattern to <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/manicure-monday-aztec-inspired-nails.html" target="_blank">last week's</a> manicure but that's a bit of an accident, I was originally just going to be posting about OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It but by the time I came to write this post it had evolved into this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt80zf3s35e-m83ZXuykwDaavthHxtcWCgefAsF4eTeeieUgaDX4dbM8_GnZU1_R5nU3AeKRElCLXUs4jOaQLmU3g99LLBgguOzwwZgPZKh5GEpfrF795T6E71IVw3Lrn3-pmpjLvPVd0/s1600/ombre+aztec.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="bright tribal aztec nailart" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt80zf3s35e-m83ZXuykwDaavthHxtcWCgefAsF4eTeeieUgaDX4dbM8_GnZU1_R5nU3AeKRElCLXUs4jOaQLmU3g99LLBgguOzwwZgPZKh5GEpfrF795T6E71IVw3Lrn3-pmpjLvPVd0/s1600/ombre+aztec.jpg" height="249" title="" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
When I did last week's manicure I really liked OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It so I started out with that but after 4 days (I think) I started getting bit bored and it was looking a bit worse for wear so I decided that I'd make it more interesting and sponge some yellow (Nina Ultra Pro Like Butta) onto the tips and make a gradient nail.<br />
<br />
Unfortunately I'm really bad at gradient nails and it ended up looking patchy. Instead of taking it all off I decided to add a bold pattern so that the patchiness would be less noticeable. I liked the pattern that I had on my nails <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/manicure-monday-aztec-inspired-nails.html" target="_blank">last week</a> so I decided to do something a bit similar. I used thin craft brushes rather than attempting to use my nail art pens or a sharpie and that worked a lot better. The black I used was Illamasqua Boosh (in the sale for £5 <a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/sale-5-1/nail-varnishes-3/boosh-nail-varnish" target="_blank">here</a>) and I used Gosh Nail Tip for the white. I then topped it off with a coat of Rimmel Matte Finish.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCtBqFhvY4A_pkG9dE2AKqXOEpzy4tGTAlmb37pYbdBIzunLVIMT27y5Ro3L_jixSzsbCtdMZGAVv13rWgw4t5rGiCSTb7FBdg32DlrcOWl9xlqa6bwrbg5OCpJ-FtmgxfqKIXydHXR0/s1600/OPI+Tasmanian+Devil+Made+Me+Do+It.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="opi tasmanian orange red nail" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCtBqFhvY4A_pkG9dE2AKqXOEpzy4tGTAlmb37pYbdBIzunLVIMT27y5Ro3L_jixSzsbCtdMZGAVv13rWgw4t5rGiCSTb7FBdg32DlrcOWl9xlqa6bwrbg5OCpJ-FtmgxfqKIXydHXR0/s1600/OPI+Tasmanian+Devil+Made+Me+Do+It.jpg" height="320" title="" width="197" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It is a bright orange/red. It applies nicely I used two coats in the picture above but I should probably have used three coats because it's not quite as opaque as it could be. It not got the best staying power, I usually manage to get about 6 days wear out of an OPI polish before it becomes noticeably worn but this was looking worse for wear after 4 days. It's a nice colour but there are a lot of very similar colours out there and this one doesn't have the best formula.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I love skincare oils, up until about 18 months ago I was scared of using oil on my face- I've got combination oily skin and the idea of using oil on my already oily skin seemed like a terrible idea but as I started to get more into skincare reading online blogs I realised what I should be worrying about was excess oil. Skin naturally has oil to protect it, if we keep stripping away the natural oils without replacing them it's going to produce more and more oil. I could go on alot longer about why oil is great for your skin but I think I'll probably write a whole blog post and actually start reviewing the product I'm supposed to be reviewing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisaXreGcITg7-LxYX8i60kY7qSfbU4NXM49cMI7SyYmQee6veHz1Te-vtqE2BCkU1WhZnD5Xu3dHBldhUCUo7lg3D8-0lUmbSPwln0DK-ENCZ1sJigRoRYETnf97Vu79QUP1992Jhq2sM/s1600/Clarins+Lotus+oil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisaXreGcITg7-LxYX8i60kY7qSfbU4NXM49cMI7SyYmQee6veHz1Te-vtqE2BCkU1WhZnD5Xu3dHBldhUCUo7lg3D8-0lUmbSPwln0DK-ENCZ1sJigRoRYETnf97Vu79QUP1992Jhq2sM/s1600/Clarins+Lotus+oil.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I got this oil a few months ago after Caroline Hirons mentioned it in her <a href="http://www.carolinehirons.com/2011/08/spots-cheat-sheet.html" target="_blank">spot cheat sheet</a> and Stacey wrote a <a href="http://expatmake-upaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/clarins-lotus-face-treatment-oil-review.html" target="_blank">review</a>. It's a really light face oil that I use in the evening, I use 4 or 5 drops after spraying my face with a hydrating toner and then apply a light moisturiser over the top. If my skin is particularly stressed I might apply a 2 or 3 drops in the morning because it seems to calm my skin down and reduce redness.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's probably my favourite skincare oil, I find that it does the most to help my skin in term of oil balancing and blackheads while stopping my skin from becoming dehydrated. I misplaced it for about a fortnight at the beginning of this month and nearly bought another despite the fact that this bottle will last me for a lot longer- I'm on my first bottle and I've used probably 1/10 since I bought it 4 months ago using it 2 or 3 times a week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It's got quite a strong scent but it does smell nice- quite herbal- and I think that the scent is because the ingredients are scented rather than added fragrance. It's also preservative free if that's something you care about (in general oils don't need preservatives as much as other skincare products- it's the water that causes the problems).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It's a bit pricier than some of the other oils I use (mostly rosehip oils) at £32 for 30ml but it does last and <a href="http://escentual.com/">escentual.com</a> always seem to have better (i.e. cheaper) prices for Clarins, over at <a href="http://www.escentual.com/clarins/clarinsfaceoil002/" target="_blank">Escentual it's £28.15</a>.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I apologise for the image I'm not a great photographer and I found it hard to get a good photo of something transparent with white writing on both sides of the bottle, in real life it's a paler yellow, but I put up the contrast so that the writing was a bit more legible- I need to go back to reviewing lipstick I think! More lipstick seems like a great solution.</div>

This gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent lipstick is next up as one of <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/myfavouritelipsticks" target="_blank">my favourite lipsticks</a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
<a name='more'></a> It's a rich creamy terracotta red with great pigmentation- I like applying it opaque andit's got pretty good staying power and fades to a nice stain. I've applied it sheerly in the picture below which gives a my lips but better effect.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPPiKqJz5uJybh2_wUMp9SuM-VOZTvdSYFnXplnI5rdZa9Amm5F8ZiSEED_PEsXDEf73jkseKG7nLE7x7x3oFwk-f7GpfgUawrS4GeQEy1sUOTwkEbOcIQ_Tju1BXxIcXF1ZdYHE8zSig/s1600/ysl+sheer+20.26.04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPPiKqJz5uJybh2_wUMp9SuM-VOZTvdSYFnXplnI5rdZa9Amm5F8ZiSEED_PEsXDEf73jkseKG7nLE7x7x3oFwk-f7GpfgUawrS4GeQEy1sUOTwkEbOcIQ_Tju1BXxIcXF1ZdYHE8zSig/s1600/ysl+sheer+20.26.04.jpg" height="197" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I always think it looks surprisingly brown in the lipstick bullet but the red tones come out when applied to the lips. The packaging like with all the YSL products is very pretty- gold and shiny- but the second you touch it it's covered with finger print smears which isn't so pretty. I also find it really prone to scratching, I actually had to swap the lid in the picture below with another YWL lipstick because the lid for this one is so scratched (in fairness I tend to chuck whatever lipstick I'm wearing in the bottom of my bag for touch ups so if you keep it in a makeup bag this probably wouldn't be a problem).<br />

There's a 7 marked on the bottom but it's definitely not #7 which is le fuchsia a really bright pink but I really can't figure out what colour it could be. If anyone does know then comment because I really would like to know. Writing this post has made me realise how much I love this lipstick and how much I do want a spare.</div>

This lipstick is a bit of an odd one for me- I always like it in the tube and swatched when it looks like a pretty pinky/coral with a touch of shimmer but the second I put it one my lips it looks like a metallic silver and looks completely unnatural. I think I just have completely the wrong complexion for this colour which is a real shame because I do really like the colour just not on me.<br />

The formula is creamy and pigmented but it's got a very flowery/powdery scent which I'm not a fan of. The packaging is lightweight plastic but well made.<br />

I'd had relatively dark polish on my nails for the last few weeks so I when I came to do this manicure I really wanted something bright and my <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/redandredder/" target="_blank">Pinterest</a> page seemed to be covered in Aztec inspired designs so I thought I'd give it a go. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhekH-JaIGFA-EstayD6JjqiOlCGyve5cAaRa8wAhYJ73DexIkL_I2H9ABnboErSnkVi6UblgY9mwfUlQW1bjR2LsbIrRHxWZKX2Qq4P_jQ6a-spIB9E9-o3pxBKQ6KoEjdHLXJh4ebGQo/s1600/aztec+inspired.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhekH-JaIGFA-EstayD6JjqiOlCGyve5cAaRa8wAhYJ73DexIkL_I2H9ABnboErSnkVi6UblgY9mwfUlQW1bjR2LsbIrRHxWZKX2Qq4P_jQ6a-spIB9E9-o3pxBKQ6KoEjdHLXJh4ebGQo/s1600/aztec+inspired.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'd also seen some pins about how to use a sharpie for nail art and I thought that it would be easier- wrong! I think I gave up after about half a nail with the sharpie, it was good for dots but drawing an even line on my nail was totally beyond me so I had to go digging through my nail art supplies (which is always harder when your hands are covered in damp nail polish- I just emptied about 30 bottles onto the floor in the end) to find an old black nail art pen/brush combo to do all the lines. It wasn't actually that hard to do in the end, just take it slowly and concentrate on one line at a time.</div>
<br />
I used two coats of <a href="http://www.thepolishaholic.com/2012/04/opi-amazing-spiderman-collection.html" target="_blank">OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls</a> for an off white base coat, the yellow is<a href="http://polishorperish.blogspot.co.uk/2009/10/nina-ultra-pro-notd-and-swatch.html" target="_blank"> Nina Ultra Pro Like Butta</a>, the green, pink, lilac and orange are from the Essie Bikini so Teeny collection Scrangie swatched them all <a href="http://www.scrangie.com/2012/07/essie-summer-2012-bikini-so-teeny.html" target="_blank">here</a>, the purple is <a href="http://www.scrangie.com/2009/07/opi-fall-2009-coleccion-de-espana.html" target="_blank">OPI Pamplona Purple</a>. I didn't actually use a red, I think that I used <a href="http://polishandcharms.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/cherri-melon.html" target="_blank">Nina Ultra Pro Cherri Melon</a> and <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/manicure-monday-accidental-nail-art.html" target="_blank">OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It</a> but they both looked red after I'd gone over them with the black which was from really old nail art kit (same with the blue and the neon yellow).<br />
<br />
I think if I did this manicure again I'd plan what colours I was using a bit better- I just grabbed the brightest colours I could find in every shade but I ended up preferring the nails done with slightly more subdued shades and there were a few colours (purple, blue and neon yellow) that I didn't really like with all the others.<br />
<br />
I will also buy a decent nail art brush - I had to use sooooo much seche restore to even get the black vaguely functional- this picture was taken the next day when I'd removed all the black goop that was all over my fingers.<br />
<br />

I found Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Spicy Pink #20 at my local Debenhams in a half price sale. It's probably not a colour that I'd have picked up if it wasn't in the sale, that's one of my favourite things about sales- other than the savings- but that it makes me look at colours outside your comfort zone and colours you might overlook if they were surrounded by their brighter more exciting cousins. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Before I found this lipstick I hadn't found a nude that I liked so I'd started to ignore them, but it was the only lipstick they had so I swatched it, I liked the colour and I love the YSL formula so for half price I thought why not? And now it's made it onto <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/myfavouritelipsticks" target="_blank">my favourite lipsticks</a>! </div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBi-fF34soI8jGUTKIh7ct5DPSx2maOvCDZVVy2iEn4Xm0GdZTX_9iVieFWl-yxj0kZDNfldYU-qE8E722gOp2ly5BqNe5g84MgJzl4raJezsnNR3fG398cflAUXErZZG2Zvfjn0WTk4c/s1600/ysl+rouge+volupte+spicy+pink+lipstick.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="nude lips YSL makeup" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBi-fF34soI8jGUTKIh7ct5DPSx2maOvCDZVVy2iEn4Xm0GdZTX_9iVieFWl-yxj0kZDNfldYU-qE8E722gOp2ly5BqNe5g84MgJzl4raJezsnNR3fG398cflAUXErZZG2Zvfjn0WTk4c/s1600/ysl+rouge+volupte+spicy+pink+lipstick.png" height="224" title="Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Spicy Pink 20 lipstick - swatch and review " width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>It's creamy and pigmented with a good colour payoff. Applied opaque it's a pink/brown nude but I also like to apply it sheerly as a my lips but better colour. It fades pretty quickly but it fades evenly so I often just let it fade to a very sheer colour. The formula feels moisturising and applies well, it doesn't end up in creases or dry patches.<br />
<br />
It's not the most exiting colour but it's a flattering nude which is something I struggle to find. My lips are fairly pigmented so if I use any really nude lipsticks I tend to look dead. If like me you find you look terrible in most nude lipsticks this might be the sort of colour you could think about trying.<br />
<br />

<br />
Packaging wise it's really pretty, I know that packaging makes no difference at all to how a lipstick actually looks but there's something special and fun about using makeup that comes it a gold shiny packaging.<br />

MAC Viva Glam VI is my most repurposed makeup product ever- It used to be my favourite lipstick until I found <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/my-favourite-lipsticks-ma-dubonnet.html" target="_blank">MAC Dubonnet </a> and it's still a close second.<br />

<div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a>Viva Glam VI is a pinky brown lustre, applied sheerly it's a my lips but better colour but I find it can be a bit 90s when applied thickly. It's my go to colour for a nude lip and I find that whenever I apply it it just seems to even out my complexion, it's probably the most flattering lipstick I own (just not quite as fun as some others). It needs reapplying every few hours but it fades evenly and doesn't dry my lips out so I don't mind.</div>

<br />
I also love that it's part of the Viva Glam range so 100% (minus VAT) of the sale price goes to the MAC AIDS fund which has raised over $270 million (over £160 million) for HIV/AIDS since 1994.<br />

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivMzN85nJ_Ws2NEHtb4hGen3s1PBbqYMxLUfr4y0V_cQRbrYuI6MS2GpAGBb3XOJJiq9vdRfRByscjyX3Cd77AJ4W7vlYYByyPOiSWFqmF0-Gn6fOUzWkowRaHbwMqSZFtGpNI5gNzJig/s1600/MAC+morange+Lipstick.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img alt="MAC Morange Orange swatch and review bright orange summer lipstick" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivMzN85nJ_Ws2NEHtb4hGen3s1PBbqYMxLUfr4y0V_cQRbrYuI6MS2GpAGBb3XOJJiq9vdRfRByscjyX3Cd77AJ4W7vlYYByyPOiSWFqmF0-Gn6fOUzWkowRaHbwMqSZFtGpNI5gNzJig/s1600/MAC+morange+Lipstick.png" height="172" title="" width="320" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Morange is a a true orange lipstick- nobody is going to be calling it red. Unfortunately I couldn't quite get get the images to match the true colour- it's a bit lighter and a more orange in real life, the swatch on my arm is probably the closest to the true colour. It's an amplified Creme so it's got a similar finish to <a href="http://redandredder.blogspot.com/2014/08/my-favourite-lipsticks-ma-dubonnet.html" target="_blank">MAC Dubonnet </a>but it a bit less opaque and I find that it moves around a more and always seems to end up in any creases so it needs reapplying every few hours. Unfortunately the stain it leaves behind always seems a bit patchy so it does need touching up.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I do often find the bright orange to be a bit much sometimes and my favourite way to wear it is to add a touch of coral to a lipbalm or lipstick. I applied it with vaseline to bare lips below.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It's definitely a colour worth having to mix with other lip products for a touch of coral, but I don't find myself reaching for it on it's own that often.</span><br />

<center style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a name='more'></a></span></center>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Lady Danger is a bright red with orange undertones, It applies quite red on me but other people seem to find it more orange. It's highly pigmented and easy to apply, one quick coat gives an opaque and even coverage. The matte finish lasts well but can be a bit drying and isn't very forgiving to chapped lips so I tend to use a lip balm on top</span></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I love this colour in the summer- the bright colour works really well against skin with a slight tan and the colour itself feels very summery and playful. I like wearing it with stripes, the bold colour works really well with a slightly more casual outfit </span></center>

<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Vant to Bite my Neck is a polish from OPI's spring collection; Euro Central. It's a dark purple cream polish- it's a bit darker than the photo usually (it was really bright and sunny when I took this photo). It's a good formula as you'd expect from OPI, not too chippy and nice and opaque- I used two coats for this manicure.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Vant to Bite my Neck is a rich purple and while it's not a particularly unique colour it is a pretty one.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the first in a series of my favourite lipsticks post and as my current favourite MAC Dubonnet seems like the best place to start. It's been my favourite lipstick for about a year and a half now, I think I've bought 3 tubes of it so far and it's the lipstick I used for my profile picture and to make the kiss logo. So while this is a review it's about as positive as you can get!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I’d been trying to find the perfect deep red for a while when I saw the trailer of Oz the Great and Powerful, I saw Mila Kunis as Theodora and decided I had to know what lipstick she was wearing.</span></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">A quick google revealed that she was wearing MAC lipstick in Dubonnet so next time I went into MAC (about 3 weeks later) Dubonnet was the first thing I tried.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It’s an amplified creme finish so it’s creamy and opaque. Dubonnet applies beautifully and it’s easy to use either as a solid colour or sheered to a pretty pink. It lasts about 4 hours before I have to reapply but it’s doesn’t dry my lips out too much so I don’t mind.</span><br />
